Can I modify which app is opened by the swipe-up gesture?
The swipe-up gesture triggers the app currently designated to manage search actions. To change this, you'll need to clear the defaults in the settings of the app currently being opened. For instance, for Google, long-press on the app name (Google), then go to App Info, and choose 'Clear default'.
If you don't find the 'Clear default' option, please follow these steps: Go to your device's Settings -> Apps -> Default Apps -> Opening links. Find and tap the app that is being opened, then select 'Clear default preferences'.
After these steps, perform the swipe-up gesture again and select another app. Please note, you need to have at least two apps installed that support search actions (e.g. Google, Firefox, DuckDuckGo) to be able to switch between them.
