# I'm not receiving notifications from apps with active in-app time reminder

When in-app reminders are enabled and you're outside the allowed time window, **iOS** applies the **Screen Time shield**. This **shield blocks all notifications** from the app — a system-level restriction that neither minimalist phone nor the user can override.
