# I cannot switch between apps using the recent apps button on my Google Pixel. What can I do?

This is a recognised bug on Google Pixel devices, impacting not just minimalist phone but also all other custom home screens.

We recommend trying one of the following measures:

| Clear cache for the Settings app:
| Go to Settings (gear wheel on page with all app)  > Device Settings > Apps > See all apps > Select Settings app > Storage and cache > Clear cache.

| **Clear Pixel Launcher cache:** 
| Go to Settings (gear wheel on page with all app)  > Device Settings > Apps > See all apps > Select Pixel Launcher > Storage and cache > Clear cache.

| **Force-stop the Pixel Launcher:** 
| Go to Settings (gear wheel on page with all app)  > Device Settings  > Apps > See all apps > Select Pixel Launcher > Force Stop.

| **Change the 3-button navigation to gesture navigation:** 
| Go to Settings (gear wheel on page with all app)  > Device Settings  > Device settings > System > Navigation mode > Choose "Gesture Navigation".
